If you talk to people of all ages in Inner City San Diego, they affectionately consider Jeremy Robinson as someone they respect and trust. Jeremy grew up in Southeast San Diego, graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Sociology, and has worked for Young Life for the past sixteen years alongside coaching and teaching teens.
As a passionate and visionary Area Director and mentor, Jeremy states, "I do Young Life because I love God and I love serving kids. Young Life allows me to do both and adds the element of fun."
After volunteer leading for YoungLife while teaching at Hoover High School, Aimee wanted to find a way to support the mission of Younglife in her community during her time as a stay-at-home mom. She is passionate about teens feeling loved and fulfilling their educational pursuits. She graduated from UCLA and SDSU with English and Creative Writing degrees and spent some time studying abroad in Spain and England.
After attending UC Santa Cruz as a first-generation college student, Alfredo married his high school sweetheart and returned to work in the City Heights schools and community that he grew up.
Alfredo shares his dynamic and engaging personality with students as a Young Life leader, substitute teacher, and baseball coach. He says, "I decided to work for Young Life because I was first introduced to a relationship with Jesus through the ministry. I wanted to do the same with teenagers in my community."
The ever-creative and musically-gifted Oscar Garcia is a college student at Southwest Community College studying Communications, which is one of his strengths as a friendly and gregarious leader.
He explains, "I've been doing Campus Ministry since my freshman year of high school and upon getting hired by my church, I was also presented with the opportunity to join Young Life and serve the community that I work around."
Autumn's rapport with teenagers is well-established as she has served as a Youth Pastor and worked with YoungLife in this community for many years. Her wit enables her to battle with the best of those clever teens and win their hearts with the compassion of Christ. She is a college student at San Diego Christian College pursuing a degree in Youth Ministry.
James Wiley Jr. always has a trick or joke up his sleeve, endearing him to the youth in his community as a Youth Pastor and Non-profit Founder of Reel Teens. James has worked with Young Life most of his adult life and has a passion to reach teens with the good news of Jesus Christ .
